DAYTON, Ohio – The Miami Valley Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is proud to announce Greater Dayton Building & Remodeling as a recipient for a National Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award in the Commercial Exterior category.  

The “Yankee Station” project was an exterior renovation of a +/- 33,000 sqft. retail center in Centerville, Ohio. At the time of construction, the building housed three tenants and had a storefront that was comprised of a variety of materials creating multiple, dissimilar architectural aesthetics. The exterior renovation project was completed in early 2018, after 6+ months of improvements had taken place. The three existing tenants remained opened during the entire project, and although several challenges arose during the production phase of work (weather, customer parking, unforeseen construction conditions, etc.), the project was completed on-time and on-budget. Upon completion of the renovation, the center also saw the addition of three new tenants, with more leases in the works, accomplishing the ownership’s goal of increasing desirability to future leasees.

NARI encourages our contractor members across the nation to compete for the prestigious CotY Awards in recognition of their achievements throughout the year. CotY’s are awarded at the local, regional and national level. Greater Dayton Building & Remodeling received awards in both the local and regional program.
